Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. If a barang can get 2 pork baguettes for 3000 riel that's two meals (breakfast, lunch,) Then combine 2 packers of indo me noodle for 1000 riel each (2000)riel and we may have just cracked the code of the cheapest diet possible to be consumed for a westerner.

Not without reason. Where I live rurally, the makers of the meat buy old and diseased pigs to butcher because they are cheap. More dangerous than a Berliner Currywurst.

It cant be that bad if she's still selling it, maybe she got a good batch of pork.
But I agree that many khmers will carelessly serve food or drink that is dirty, unsafe for human consumption or expired in order to make a a buck they really don't care if customers return or not, all that matter is the money in the hand right then and there.

animals that die of disease are routinely rushed to the market for sale.
given the novel flu outbreak that is current, duck and goose meat is best avoided
