As long as it works for you why not ?
I have had a very good result from a chiropractor also, but it was from the "soft" school, not the jerk and crack squad. If chiropractors were properly licensed that would prevent the Chiro-joes from setting up fake practices. That would be more helpful than rejecting the whole thing I think.

I don't have problems with homeopathy, acupuncture or witch doctors either, within limits of course. Don't underestimate the power of placebos. Most of the time I'm fine with conventional medicine, but sometimes it doesn't work.

However, I would not go to a chiropractor on steroids (with meth and gun convictions) - but that's just me. :drooling bouncy:
My mother swears by her chiropractor ,who helped back to health after an accident . But my father who also had back pain from the same accident said he was useless!
It's a shame that this guy has had his past dragged up. Having worked in the past with offenders I think everyone deserves a chance to reform. He seems to be trying to make a new start.

Chiro worked for me, on several prolonged regimens, but ONLY during treatment. The moment I stopped for a week or two, the problems/pain would return exactly as it did on the day I first started treatment and it provided no long term results.
I don't think it's any more beneficial than self administered like yoga, and nowhere near as effective over the long term as physiotherapy and osteopathy.

Agree 100%.
Plenty of people with a "shady" past move elsewhere to get a fresh start. Plenty end up being "top blokes" ( that phrase is .TM Hotdigr BTW!). Some don't. AFAIK, this bloke hasn't fukd anyone over here. Or in Thailand or in Oz from what I can see from the reports.
Take people as they treat you. Treat me with respect and I will treat you with respect. Treat me like shit....
BTW, never met the bloke, have no ulterior motive for defending him. But, everyone should be given a fair go.

Come on. Who heads to Sihanoukville for a fresh, wholesome, new start?

That's like a diabetic starting a milkshake diet.

If you compair Thailand vs America ,I would say Thailand is a more dangerous than the US and then one may argue you need a gun there more than in the states. Obviously this is a bullshit point , private citizen should never be allowed to carry sidearms . But what this guy did in Thailand ,bad that it was ,is a nonstarter in the States ,where lots of people have more than one gun under thier cushions .

Have you ever heard the phrase 'let sleeping dogs lie' if this guy is such a bad man that users need to warned about,I would not poke him.

Re acupuncture, it merely states that in the trials chiropractic showed no advantage over other control treatments one of which was acupuncture. It is not condoning this as a viable treatment, only as one of the comparisons.

"Results of these trials, which included a total of 741 patients suffering from acute, subacute, or chronic back pain, did not show an advantage of chiropractic over control treatments (i.e., physiotherapy, educational booklets, oral medications, acupuncture, or steroid injections)."

Re acupuncture see: Acupuncture Is Theatrical Placebo, Colquhoun, David PhD*; Novella, Steven P. MD† Anesthesia & Analgesia:June 2013 - Volume 116 - Issue 6 - p 1360–1363

The best controlled studies show a clear pattern, with acupuncture the outcome does not depend on needle location or even needle insertion. Since these variables are those that define acupuncture, the only sensible conclusion is that acupuncture does not work. Everything else is the expected noise of clinical trials, and this noise seems particularly high with acupuncture research. The most parsimonious conclusion is that with acupuncture there is no signal, only noise
