Kao Insane Road

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Total white trash heap, but where else can you find a room for less than 400 baht with ac and shower? Please tell me cause I'd like to avoid this shithole in the future, if at all possible. It's just idiot haven here.

I would rather stay in a ramakao excentred hotel for that price range (400 to 600)

Isn't it full of hipsters these days ? Not that it matters really since if not, I would then presume it to be packed with smelly backpackers.
Now since many things could have happened in two decades please do tell me.

It's full of white trash walking into your line of path thinking it's still some lawless hangout, only too stupid to know that any quarrel will lead to immediate detention and a $500 upwards fine, check out the police station early hours where the meatheads are let out before average mr and ms. freshie tourist wake up for their noodle soup and coffee.

Also the habit of combining a walking street with a high speed motorcycle highway seems somewhat odd to me, but hey it adds to the thrill overall I guess. No big deal.
