Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hi John and welcome to CEO.
Do you stop in at Sihanoukville on your cruises ? If so, we'd be interested to know what happens...
Feel free to comment or ask questions on the forums.
Cheers, AM :beer3:

Hey folks
My wife and I have a long term goal of early retirement in asia. We have always loved spending time there especially Cambodia. When we got back from our annual holiday 2 weeks ago we thought screw it lets quit our jobs and live in Cambodia for six months as we need to actually know whether we like spending time there on a longer term basis.
A friend of ours is keen to rent our house and we are in the early stages of getting an internet business off the ground so the timing is perfect.
We leave in two weeks and hope to travel to Kampot and Sihanoukville in the first couple of weeks. If nothing there grabs us we will take a lease in Phnom Penh.
So we will see you there :beer3:

Good decision. Just do it and see how it pans out. :thumb:
And as usual, if you want to know anything, just ask...
