flying to vietnam 1 way

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Been reading about Phu Quoc.

Might be a bit too late in some ways because of big scale developments going on. Plenty stuff to do there mind you, still has amongst the best beaches in Vietnam, apart from the other Southerly Islands there, Oh, and an interesting connection to the Mekong Delta region, which is interesting.

Better beaches between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon and on Con Dao. And less Russians.

LOL.

I haven't been to Vietnam for years. I know i was shocked at the amount of Russians in Pattaya. Mind you, the ones i met were friendly enough, and mostly on Walking street which i mostly avoided anyhow.

Hopefully in Vietnam there are some nice Russian girls... :downtown:

Anyone have 1st hand experience about small to micro villages between Nah Trang & Cam Ranh Bay? Or even south of there.

Will be visiting very soon & looking for some not touristy spots. Any recent hands on experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Not looking for gourmet dining, girls or luxo accommodations.

Thinking more rustic but with fresh seafood, beer & ganja chill for a few days.
These hectic Sihanoukville party scenes are wearing thin.

Just found this awesome site yesterday. I'm amazed at this blokes motorbike trips. I bet he's got all the beach stories you'll ever need.
