Beer garden trip today(Tuesday 24th June)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Ok, it was a great night! !

We had 11 people show up, which was just enough to squeeze comfortably in the big booth they gave us, along with a few cuties!

We all ended up eating dinner at 3 Mangoes first, and still managed to put away some more food at the Beer Garden!

After Ali Baba lead us through some sketchy back roads, we arrived at a huge beer garden not too far from The Rock.

Not surprisingly, I'd been there before, LoL.

Big stage with random singing, solos and in numbers, along with some break dancing groups.

Service was perfect. They hung around, but they weren't filling our glasses with ice after every sip.

Afterwards, some of us went back to 3 Mangoes, and some of us headed off to the hostess bars (a karma point to anyone who can guess which group I was in, LoL).

I only fell in love twice tonight, which is rare.

Unfortunately it's a work night, so I'm back home, flying solo.

A fun time, and thanks to everyone for coming out! !

Sounds cool. Surprised you got so many posters showing up for such a last minute meetup!
(is that two since the site started? Meanwhile, seems it takes 16 months for K440 to organize a single meetup. Their logistics officer must be Italian or something).

Beer Garden was fun, laid back and cool. A good time.

Great to meet everyone that showed up.

As to the Hostess Bar ---- well that's 30 minutes of my life I wish I could have back.

Marlon Brando in Apocalypse now comes to mind "The Horror, The Horror"

Seriously who chose that place? :>O

Rain Dog, I don't think "Horror" is spelt that way.

HaHa --- Trust me "Horror" was far more appropriate than "whore' in this case.
