Administration/Moderation Concerns?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I was going to add something to the thread about flooding but couldn't find the thread/s. Nothing shows up on the search function.

What has happened to those threads?

Probably been mentioned before, but this thing signs me out at the drop of a hat. Switch from 3G to wifi, or between wifi connections, or a shakey wifi connection, or just not being on for a while, all seem to sign me out. Been more than a couple times that I haven't posted when I would have just because I couldn't be bothered to keep signing in.

Just to make sure: You're signing in with the way that gives you the option to "keep me logged in"?

I almost always stay logged in via computer, phone browser and tapatalk these days.

Yup, I always click the 'keep me logged in' box. Sometime I stay logged in, sometimes not. I notice the problem mostly with mobile devices.

Damn. Not sure how that works. I've had random problems like that, but they are always short lived.

Guess we'll wait for something from Unlucky Burger.

There's a forced signout triggered when your IP address changes so much that it's no longer associated with your session. This functionality is pretty good at preventing hijacks of accounts. As the site is currently plaintext http only it's a good method for now.

Will have a look when I recovered from my possible dengue infection.
