Do they drink much or often? FL's, hostesses, non sex workers? Older women. I've read about a few being drunk, but is that exceptions?

My ex was an alcoholic. She drank most days both in Cambodia and Australia.

Khmers girls are usually quite demur and don't drink much, if ever. Unlike the British girls who's new national mascot is a fat white drunk chick staring at a shattered iPhone.

The ones from the province's that usually end up working in a factory and then a bar cannot drink to save themselves. Fast forward a few months and sure they can drink quite well.
On the other hand the established slightly older and (self sufficient) women that can buy and sell multiple range rovers can drink many of us, me included... under the table.
Check out any of the local clubs/ ktv's and see how many bottles they can consume in one night (and they drink straight shots... not mixed).... never ever challenge them to a drinking duel. u will lose.

So it's horses for courses. Some can pound it.... others can't drink for shit. kinda the same anywhere.

But for sure they are more.... how would you say... accustomed to it here for sure. Alcohol is a Major part of life (and problems) here... i guess same as anywhere else.....

^ Nailed it, well said. My missus can't drink for shit, 2-3 beers or any shot of a spirit and shes legless, most of her sisters however are the complete opposite. Whats that Khmer saying..."Drink for drunk, if not drunk, drink for what"

Most of the older women in the Province where I live will down a cheap shot of sra saw or else the same rice wine that has been soaking in herbs and god knows what else for medicinal purposes. Work pains mostly. One maybe two shots at the most after field work. However there is one village near us where there is a perpetual card game or some form of gambling going on. They appear to be under the influence(in particular very loud) I have noticed no Cambodian men join them, they might stand on the sidelines, but never participate directly.
In the 12 years that I have been here, beer has replaced sra saw(rice wine) completely and the occasional bottle of booze with a foreign label appears.

Although I haven't been for a while, on previous trips, most refused the offer of a drink. I thought it was great, compared to Pattaya, where the BG, mamas an, service girl and random friend all asked for a drink!

Good news about them not being big drinkers. I've had enough of drunk birds in the west.

I've seen a worse vid of this London Booze Bus Ambulance, that picks drunk female office workers etc, off the steet, stick a drip and a "nose bag" on them to catch the sick. .............And feminists wonder why we prefer Asian women!
