Anybody know these two Cambodian idioms ?

1 bot jerng dtoaich
2 bot jern tom

1 bot jerng dtoaich means urinate.
2 bot jerng Tom means poop.

It is really formal to say them.

These are two more Khmer idioms that you guys should know. In case some of you are called, you might have ideas how to respond.

1 Ort Krup Teuk (literally means not enough water). Explanation : This phrase generally refer to plants that are not completely whole or mal-formed due to the lack of water. With people, however, the phrase means (STUPID). Another funny explanation of this idiom, here the water refers to sperm. So it means that you are born with lack of sperm, then it made you stupid). e.g You are really Ort Krup Teuk, how come you couldn't find the way back home.

2 Toat Kchhawal ( literally means kicking the wind). Idiomatically means unemployed. Explanation: when you have no jobs, you might have no ideas what to do. So you might just go out and walk without the direction, it is like you are kicking the wind.

Like when people asked me what I do I do, I said Der Tout Kchol (walk kicking wind).

Another good one for everyday conversation is, if you want to have a drink 'tov dok maeh'

It means doing sweet FA (fuck all). The literal translation is watching air.
