Ha! No. BF material maybe, but the family would go ballistic if the marriage topic came up over a spotty face 20-something English teacher with no savings or salary to speak of. The best hope is if the young guy is a professional (mostly IT now) or has suckered the NGO sphere into paying him an exorbitant wage. Then again, guys like that are pretty rare and wouldn't be skulking around asking for the lowest possible bar-girl fine.

kind of agree though, if were talking about bargirls, i think they see the young guys as boyfriend material, the older guys as "boyfriend" material, but i think the girls are more likely to marry a barang whose older than younger, 30 years+

I would say the price depends on whether you look all right or not. If you look very all right then you may get it for free. Sort of.

I would say that Cambodian woman prefer 20 or 30 something men that are wealthy and that are idiots to the old guys.

Or, if your looking for a straight GF. I would say that would be quite difficult if your middle aged looking for a 20 something; although, having money does appear to make a difference.

A good trick is to be with a good mate as you go out, and not on your own.
I noticed in Pattaya that when I was out with my friends back then,
we were approached by better looking women more frequently,
compared to when I was on my own. The old wingman concept, I guess.

Who said free? I said sort of free. It actually works out a lot more expensive in the long run. And it doesn't really have much to do with those sort of looks either.
