We spent quite some time at Chivas over the weekend - at the Rebels Poker Run on Saturday night and then we held our girlfriend's birthday party there last night.

I'll start with the Poker Run and far out, the sports bar upstairs at Chivas was amazing.
The staff were absolutely on the ball, dinner was ready when we arrived and omg it was good tucker!

There was also plenty of ice - unlike Snooky's where I bought five drinks but was only allowed ice for one lol. I am not even joking!

There is tons of room upstairs, it didn't feel crowded at all - I don't know how many were on the Poker Run but it was a lot.

Then the birthday party last night was fantastic - we held it downstairs, brought some food in, ordered some food from Chivas and kept the beers flowing!

One of the staff did the music for us, they all helped blow up balloons and decorate the place beforehand and were genuinely excited to give Kunthea a great night - she turned 28 and this was her first ever birthday party.

The new manager has really turned things around got Chivas, I can highly recommend the place for a meal, a night out or a function.
And no, I have nothing to gain by posting except to give credit where it is due.

And Jamie Lambo omg there are some stunning girls working there! Come back and I'll introduce you lol

There was one girl on Saturday night with the most awesome legs wearing the skimpiest little sailor outfit. I'm sure someone got a photo.

I've been managing upstairs for just on 4 months now and am very fukn happy with the way things are going. As Captn Relentless said - I was swimming in a pool of piss and shit w [ hen I started (well put btw mate). Now we can handle from 1 - 70+ people better than anyone else in town. I was SO FUKN PROUD of my staff on Saturday for the Poker run and Sunday for Kunthea's birthday, what an AWESOME job they did!
As of tomorrow, I'm taking charge of the entire place. There has never been a problem with staff here, just a problem with the (lack) of management. There is no longer a "committee" managing the place, there is just one person - me. And anyone that knows me, knows I value customer service above anything else.
No the customer isn't always right. Act like an arsehole, disrespect my staff in particular and I will throw you out on your ear. But if you have a legitimate gripe with something, then I will make sure you leave happy and satisfied.
Someone earlier commented that they hope the place goes broke and a manager with experience takes it over. C*nt of a thing to say, but was probably true. However - we didn't go broke, but a manager who knows what the fuk he is doing, is now in charge - me. I, as always, will live and die on my own merits.
