In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

What's your point? I've twenty years experience in the game and not ignorant when it comes to menu planning, minimising expenses and setting gross profit.phuketrichard wrote:food costs 30-35%

Not sure why you think the business is a restaurant. It's a bar and we grill quality burgers out front. The last restaurant I ran had 200 covers and I'm never going back to that hassle.
Hope you're well Richard

were they a tribute or sung a variety of songs?
i would have thought with 200 covers there would have been something for everyone to enjoy

The prices of food in PP have no maths behind them in most cases they just charge what the other person charges down the road my opinion .Knowing your margins is the key . What is your markup?Simon@Garage wrote:I've done my research and feel our prices are more than competative. If you think $5 for a decent burger and a serving of hand cut double fried chips is too much I wish you luck in finding a better deal mateCam Nivag wrote:That $1.50 order of fries doesn't look that big to me.General Mackevili wrote: And no more small/large orders of fries, it's just $1.50 for a side of fries, and the serving was definitely upped.

That would be telling! Beer is a loss leader to be honest (happy hours, buying mates drinks etc). Food, spirits, wine and soft drinks are where you make a decent GP.Алина Анисимов wrote:The prices of food in PP have no maths behind them in most cases they just charge what the other person charges down the road my opinion .Knowing your margins is the key .
