why does shit always rise to the surface?kiwiincambodia wrote:Nok Tang is that you?zmth wrote:But then besides that I take it the greedy owners of place have such things as those disgusting ladies drinks ?kiwiincambodia wrote:No it used to be a freelance place but now it's catering to the live music crowd.
There is normally still a few hanging around but is no longer one of the main selling points.
It's all about he music these days.

So where is this place called Sharkey ? I spent 2 months in Phonm Penh. Went one night on a bicycle ride to a little less than 100 then to 104 .... 136 and from all I saw it was not even close to the desirability of say Golden Sorya Mall or even walkabout. CAn't see why anyone would go anywhere for entertainment other than the street 51 area. The beer was only $0.75 in the front place of Golden Sorya Mall and I did not find that anywhere on 136 etc. About all I saw on 136 etc. is those disgusting hostess bars. Also have the much preferred ' drug ' and stoned type people in Golden Sorya Mall - yea one bad thing is many of the girls are really a-holes though in Golden Sorya mall but I suppose that's everywhere. As far as Phnom Penh goes that area walkabout to Golden Sorya Mall is the ONLY place to be with one possible exception which is Sundance II because it is air conditioned all the time and beers only $1.00 atleast while I was there.zmth wrote:Ok so then it was misquoted as being ' freelancer ' place then ? I mean it is hostess and NOT freelancers ?kiwiincambodia wrote:Sharkeys is not in the 51 GSM / heart area, probably why you have never seen it.
Hate to say it but you hang out in some really classy places, and yes that is sarcasm.

No, it wasn't me. I'm being censored on this forum. However, to contribute, I just spent a week at NagaWorld and again had good luck with the dealers and drink girls off duty. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't expensive, and it was there despite what i assume is cameras and rules. Just be a decent bloke and have a room there and you are well to third base. To really rock this bunch's world, yes, I also had two encounters with my own floor maid! She was perhaps the most passionate of the five or six girls I entertained that week. Mini bar red wine was $28.usd, and who gave a shit? Not me. I didn't buy any disgusting lady drinks or pay any barang or Khmer pimps a "barfine". Just romantic intelligent short times.
Overall, Nagaworld while expensive, is a nice way to visit Phnom Penh. Meals were $20-$70 without booze, but breakfast buffet is included. You don' t need three large meals a day. Free water and coffee in the room as well as a bowl of welcome fruit which last a few days. Less than $100.usd for the room.(I got a package which included airport transfers and one dinner as well plus a laundry discount) Very satisfied. Darlin Darlin freelancer bar wasn't it for me, the real remarkable unavailable women are the sixteen, yes 16 Filipino's hired as greeters and working all shifts in groups of four. Forget it, they are as cold as the oysters on the buffet. Dealers, cocktail girls, go for it. Maids only if you got some charm. But those Filipino's, they must be looking for real Chinese Baccarat money or else simply don't sell themselves which is hard to believe. Yes, their lips move so they could have been lying to me about it all.

I forgot to mention the hustlers hanging around the table games. Older Khmer women (age from 30-50) but one or two may have been worth a trip upstairs. In the past these ladies were straight forward hard driving unprotected sex with absolutely no "I don't do that" or "are you finish yet" nonsense. I just didn't feel safe with them because they knew how much I'd been winning. Had I been losing, they wouldn't have been hanging around me. So you get my point mate? They knew you either had a lot of cash on you, or you had a little or none. That leaves your fly open if you had a lot which I always did.
