Freelancer Places in Phnom Penh 2016

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

at least one anyway that was 50 baht for short time in the place which I did do a couple or so times and I am as sure of that as I am alive. Just because you did not find it or nobody told you the local price does not mean it did not exist

how can you compare two places if youve never been to one of them.... you opinion is invalid,
if i told you that your 50baht mamasan baan is far sleazier than the chicken farm you would call bullshit because i was never there... same goes for your opinion

the chicken farm can be a sketchy place, its mainly ktvs and some brothels, theres ktvs and brothels all over cambodia, its no more sleazy down there than anywhere else, maybe its just because you dont know they exist, the chicken farm may have had a reputation before, when the BIBA club was still open, but personally now, i dont see what the fuss is all about

i mean the first review i ever read about the chicken farm read...
The area is dark and dangerous. Attacks occur often. Go in groups of a least 3 people and never alone down there

maybe if you are some clueless tourist whos jumped on the back of a moto and asked to go to the chicken farm you might be a little out your depth there, but anyone whos been in cambodia a while and not so sensitive and can speak the lingo, you got no problems, just avoid going down there too late before all the crazies come out lol ive been drinking down there in KTVs untill 11-11.30 no problems

my mate whos just moved into town from pattaya, hes heard about the chicken farm from me and his other friends, while hes not sure its his thing hes curious to check it out
hes lived in south east asia for the past 15 years and the past 4 in Pattaya, hes not new to sleaze, hes taken me to the Dark Side in Pattaya a few times lol
i will ask him to give me a review of his thoughts on the place and i will post it here

im no expert, i just enjoy/prefer going out and drinking out of the touristy zones, maybe im just a little sketchy myself and it doesnt bother me lol

I remember 50 baht girls in Bangkok in the late seventies. Average price for nice bar girls was 200 baht I think and 300-500 for a Patpong dancer. The Snooky chicken farm was always a good place to go for a drink, what was that house number at the far end? Roddie lived there for a while when he was really broke.
I am amazed that it has survived the port development, the dirt road is right next to the fence isnt it?
