oh and i have had conversations about periods with my bird and daughter in the past

Cousin that lives with us is a bit delicate so has a preparation of barks and herbs in rice wine for cramps, but she's been known to steal half a beer as an alternative when the medicine bottle is empty.

My missus had the hot rock on her stomach after the last baby was born. It is all bollocks of course. They used to light the fire under them and feed them rice wine. Obviously very bad for the baby drinking mum's milk.
Ignorance and old customs are a curse on a society which needs modern practices to save the lives of mothers and babies.

Old people always educate the young to drink wine with herb when they have period or after giving a birth. They believe that it helps us healthy ( clean inside ) and make our skin better.

The hot rock on your stomach is for stretch marks. That filthy hooch concoction (rice wine, weeds, honeycomb with bee larvae in it) is for the humors.
