What's a moon buggy? Is it the same as a beach buggy? ( I know, I could google it, but there may be others reading this who have never heard of a moon buggy apart from those used by NASA).

The vehicle does not even need to be yours to insure. However mine are 100% legit. Yes a Cambodian DL is required. Have even made a claim. They paid but reluctantly.
I had the policy fully translated to English & signed & stamped by company rep.

CYOA
Mate, I can only go by Ozzie insurance. You are asked if you have ever had a citation in any state. Lie about it and try to claim.. you are fukd. Drive a vehicle on a beach that you need to have a permit to drive on ( lets say Double Island Point or Pottsville beach) and you don't have that permit, you are fukd. Try to get insurance from a reputable company over here as an expat and they WILL ask you about your previous record in your home country. Lie about it and you are FUKD come claim time.
FFS, I tried to give Snookieboi some advice and that fukn cocksucker Sinsamouth had a go at me out of the blue. Fuk him and I really couldn't give a fuk what any of you think. I was having a go at fukn insurance companies. What - you think they are a fukn benevolent society thats is there to make life easy for you? If you don't realise they are out to fuk you over - well thats not my problem

Just to clarify that, they will ask you about ANY claims you have ever made, with any insurance company, any where in the world, ever. Lie about it and you are FUKD come claim time.

No idea either, but I'm not getting involved at this stage, it's gotten a bit heated in here.

Lol scooters are much more practical when it rains.

They're just big road legal go karts.

Perhaps I am confused., It happens to people of my age demographics.

I thought the question at hand was about insuring a vehicle here in Cambodia.
I inquired to three insurance companies & not one, zip, zed, zero gave a fuk about where I came from, my previous driving record or if I knew the Rules of the Road. (joke).
Only one question. Do you have a Cambodian DL. Have have.

Went with the cheapest company with same TPl & PL coverage for both vehicles.
Did have to make a claim & took some threatening & cajoling to get them to pay. They did.
Never once did my previous driving record come up.
Time for renewal in May & will prolly use them again.
