Haha, ok.....
No, you didn't "post" that exactly, but it's in your post as quoted from someone else, so that preview shows that, BUT if you open that link, you will clearly see that is a quote.
I hope that's clear. I was thinking you had a mysterious ghostwriter at first. I could use one of those this week.

That has nothing to do with images. Check your PM.
Re: How To: Attach Images And Videos To Posts.
just joined...(hello!) and was trying to upload an image from my computer to update (edit) my avatar. it seems, from what I can tell, that the only option on the 'edit avatar page', in the 'user control panel' option is to link avatars from other web sites. is it not possible to upload a pic from ones own pc? full disclosure, I did not read the list of posts in this thread proper, scanned it quick and didn't see appropriate info. little help?
cheers

Yeah, looks like you have a choice of 'Remote Avatar' or nothing.
What you can do is go back to the first page of this thread, here > > https://cambodiaexpatsonline.com/announc ... ml#p101046
follow the directions for 'Images from your PC'. Then, when you get the Tinypic url, copy that, strip off the [IMG] tags from both ends, then place the url in your User Control Panel for 'remote image url'.
Good luck.
